Promostore policies

Refunds, Cancellations, & Artwork

Custom print is produced to your specifications and generally cannot be resold. These rules explain the cancellation window, proof responsibility, color and finishing expectations, and how we review production problems.

Cancellations and changes

Request cancellation or changes immediately through our Contact page. Before proof approval or production begins, Promostore may cancel the order and refund amounts not already committed to design, setup, purchased materials, payment processing, third-party work, or other nonrecoverable costs. A cancellation fee may apply when work has already been performed.

After proof approval, material ordering, scheduling, or production begins, custom orders generally cannot be canceled, changed, or refunded. If a requested change is still possible, added costs and a revised schedule must be approved before work continues.

Refund eligibility

Because items are customized, change-of-mind returns and refunds are not available. A confirmed Promostore production error may qualify for repair, reproduction, replacement, store credit, or refund of the affected portion, at Promostore’s reasonable discretion and as required by law.

Refunds are not available for customer-approved errors, incorrect specifications, low-resolution or unsuitable files, expected color or material variation, delivery delays outside Promostore’s control, normal wear, misuse, improper storage, or installation performed by others.

Artwork and file responsibility

Customers must provide production-ready files unless design or file-preparation services are included. Verify final size, orientation, page count, quantities, names, dates, telephone numbers, addresses, URLs, spelling, image quality, licensing, and all project specifications.

  • Use the requested template, dimensions, bleed, safe area, and finishing specifications.
  • Supply high-resolution artwork and embedded or outlined fonts when requested.
  • Confirm that photographs, logos, trademarks, and other content are authorized for use.
  • Keep original source files and backups. Promostore is not an archival-storage service.

File review is a production check, not a guarantee that every content, spelling, rights, transparency, overprint, or design issue will be detected.

Color, substrates, and finishing

On-screen colors are affected by device settings and do not exactly match printed output. RGB-to-CMYK conversion, ink, material, coating, lighting, texture, production method, and normal manufacturing tolerances can create variation. Reorders may vary from prior runs. Exact color matching requires a separately approved specification or physical contract proof where available and may add cost and time.

Cutting, folding, binding, sewing, mounting, wrapping, and finishing have normal tolerances. Keep critical content inside the safe area and extend backgrounds through the required bleed.

Proof approval

A digital proof is the final opportunity to review layout and content before production. Proofs are not reliable predictors of exact monitor-to-print color, texture, scale, or finishing. By approving a proof, you confirm that all visible content and specifications are correct and authorize production.

Promostore is not responsible for approved errors, including spelling, dates, contact information, low-resolution images, placement, dimensions, quantities, or content omissions. Revisions after approval may require a new order or added charge.

Claims, defects, and reprints

Inspect the order promptly. Report a suspected defect or shortage as soon as possible with the order number, affected quantity, a clear description, and photographs of the product and packaging. Keep all affected items and packaging until the review is complete; we may request samples or return authorization.

Promostore will compare the finished work with the approved proof, order specifications, and normal production tolerances. When we confirm a covered production error, the usual remedy is correction or reprint of the affected quantity. Do not reproduce the order elsewhere or discard it without written authorization if you expect reimbursement.
